Okay. I’ll tell a secret only my closest friends (and other writers with a favorite character they love) know, if not understand. Now if that isn’t a long sentence, I don’t know what is.
In the early nineties, Morgan was born. He was the first character to walk onto the stage of my mind. He is an English lord, a concert pianist…and a vampire. He is wealthy, sophisticated and speaks with a delicious aristocratic British accent. The secret? I fell in love with him, looking and listening for him wherever I went for the next 20 years. Finally, the dream of finding him perished to time. But he still is my Muse.
I’m very excited that Morgan will again be in the spotlight. The tag line for Sinners’ Opera is: Morgan D’Arcy has everything…except what he most desires, Isabeau. This book underwent many title changes from The Vampyre Effect to its final, Sinners’ Opera, soon to be released by The Wild Rose Press.
Sinners’ Opera was first published by a Canadian publisher, and one Amazon review that I just loved said, “Morgan and Isabeau are characters that could be placed in the same category as some of the most famous couples in romance history – Romeo and his Juliet, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy – and their romance plays out like one of Beethoven’s famous love letters”. The review came from Cocktails and Books.
In fact, The Wild Rose Press published an anthology of his love stories over the centuries while he searched for the woman of his dreams. The anthology is Morgan D’Arcy: A Vampyre Rhapsody. It is available in eBook, print and audio. https://tinyurl.com/y5zjq86v

Morgan’s stories are about love, passion and obsession. In October, the rights to Sinners’ Obsession, the sequel to Sinners’ Opera, will revert to me from the same Canadian publisher, and I hope The Wild Rose Press will pick it up.
Now that my secret is out, I might just resume my search. If you find Morgan, send him along please. He might be the one sitting on the barstool next to you—the one with long blond hair, blue eyes and an intriguing air of mystery. 😊
This is the old trailer, which will be redone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwsE3PvjFTk&t=20s
